Mary Sue Thornton

Mary Sue is originally from Muskogee, OK, and has a degree in math from the UofA and a masters in computer science from SMU.

She has lived in Dallas for 48 years, having worked at E-Systems, now Raytheon, for 37 years as a computer analyst where she met her husband, Edward Redwine – they worked together for most of those 37 years and have been married 29 years. Mary Sue is retired but Ed still works at Raytheon. Mary Sue and Ed live in Highland Park.

Mary Sue has danced with the Class Act Tap Company for 23 years and is thrilled to be singing and dancing in the Dallas Senior Follies.

Mary Sue and Ed enjoy weekend trips to Fairfield where they manage Mary Sue’s family farm. It is a working cow/calf operation and the headquarters is Mary Sue’s family home which is over 100 years old.

Not only is Mary Sue’s car trunk full of Class Act performance equipment, costumes, and props for doing Class Act shows but you might find snake boots, barbed wire, a fence stretcher – everything you might need to repair fences and walk around in the cattle pasture. Now she has added her Follies satchel to the mix.
