Persis Forster
A graduate of UT Austin with a BFA in Radio/TV, Persis owns and operates Miss Persis Studio of Performing Arts in Arlington, Tx., with her daughter, Persis Ann. Her varied career includes performing, directing, choreography and teaching in all levels of dance and musical theatre. Ms Forster is past president of Texas Assn. Teachers of Dancing and served on the faculty of the Theatre Department of UT Arlington for 18 years. A retired member of Actor’s Equity, she has played leading principal roles at Casa Manana, Lyric Theatre in Oklahoma City, Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron, Ohio, Garland Summer Musicals, Irving Lyric Theatre, Gown Town Theatre, and Theatre Arlington.
