Sandy Burdine

Sandy is a Texas girl, born in Houston raised in Dallas.  She is so excited to make a second appearance in the SPECTACULAR SENIOR FOLLIES as a SHOWGIRL at the age of 61!  Sandy was a swimwear model for Kim Dawson Agency.  Wearing a swimsuit was a natural since she was one of the first female life guards in the City of Richardson.  She stays in shape exercising every day dancing, Pilates, bicycling, swimming, or weight training. She graduated from Lake Highlands HS and UT Dallas BA Art and Performance.  Sandy used her artistic talents painting, sewing, fashion and interior design owning her business “Designs by Sandy”.  She was a volunteer/fundraiser in community and school organizations including Lovejoy/Allen ISD PTSA, President of the Allen Eagle Inc. Athletic, Golf, and Basketball Booster Clubs, while being a stay at home Mother to her only son Zach.  Sandy loves dancing with the volunteer organization “The Class Act Tap Company”.  Her love of dance came from her parents who owned Ft. Worth’s Stardust Ballroom for 20 yrs. Her Mother still dances with the Blue Star Dancers at age 83…Sandy went back to work for $$$, after years of volunteering, for The University of Texas at Dallas eleven years ago. Her biggest fans and supporters are her handsome husband Larry of 33 years and her fabulous family.
