Judy Michlin

Judy has always wanted to be on the stage;  her first opportunity was in last year’s  Senior Follies. Although  5’2”, Mark Carroll insisted she could do it.   She took on the commitment as a challenge to herself, knowing that if she could do it, it would be a big accomplishment in her life.  And it was.

Judy was born in Dallas as Judy Glick; other than attending the University of Oklahoma, she has always lived in Dallas.

She has two grown children, Debra Ross and Mark Engelberg, and two grandchildren (want to see their photos?).

While raising children, Judy owned a pre-school in Arlington, graduated college, began a long career in Public Relations at Tracy-Locke Advertising.

Then her entrepreneur  spirit moved her in other directions:  she opened one of the first Charity Bingo Halls in Dallas when it was legalized by the State of Texas.  She has two Charity Bingo Halls, and is currently planning a third.

A short time after she got that business up and running, she began to buy old houses and remodeling them into comfortable homes.  She is still doing this as well.

Judy and her husband--Musical Director Andy Michlin—are both Dallas natives who met and married in Las Vegas; they have lived in their hometown Dallas the past 14 years.

They have made headway in a goal they share: to see the world.
