Dallas Tap Dazzlers

The Dallas Tap Dazzlers, a 501 (c) 3 organization formed nineteen years ago, are not only “still around” ….they’re “still kickin’!” The average age of the ladies performing in the Follies is “68”. This exciting ensemble usually performs multiple times every month, entertaining groups of all types. As a result, the Dazzlers have established a reputation as one of the most entertaining and recognizable groups in the Metroplex.

While the Dazzlers enjoy the benefits of exercise (practicing for an hour-and-a-half straight every Monday night), fresh air (check out any parade in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area), fellowship (most of the group have been Dazzlers for over ten years) and laughter (just meet one or two of these fabulous women and you’ll soon be laughing, too), their REAL reward is realizing how they inspire women of every age.

After almost 1350 performances, the entire group loves to get out there and Dazzle audiences with their high kicks and snappy routines and costumes. They have had many memorable moments from tapping through Manhattan with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade to tapping on aCaribbean Cruise. They even appeared on Cross Canadian Ragweed’s first music vide o which was nominated for the “Country Music Video of the Year”.

They also have what they believe to be a World Record: three of their dancers have become Ms. Senior Texas. Two of them are performing tonight.
