The Mark Carroll production of THE SPECTACULAR SENIOR FOLLIES 2009, was performed Friday September 11th through Sunday September 13th, 2009 with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at the Majestic Theater. The Spectacular Senior Follies is a non-profit organization with profits benefitting the senior arts communities of Dallas . The extravagant annual September production featured classics from the 1930’s and 40’s and was reminiscent of the legendary Ziegfeld Follies and highlighted variety acts, singers and dancers. In keeping with Ziegfeld tradition our "Follies Lovlies" wore stunning costumes and were the "talk of the town". The professionally-designed sets riveled those of Broadway.

“The metroplex area is full of talented and creative people age 55 and over.” said local legend musician Mark Carroll, who produced and directed the show. “At long last, we showcased all those amazing talents who may have thought their chance to be a star had passed.”
