For years, piano man Mark Carroll sat at the epicenter of cafe society as the bandleader in the bar at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. His trademark composition, "Meet Me at the Mansion," was the cue for all the swells to hit the dance floor. The highlight of the Mansion's annual sold-out New Year's Eve party was Mark counting down to midnight.
These days, Mark has carved out a nice niche writing and producing the Spectacular Senior Follies, an annual song and dance show featuring entertainers over 55.
This year's show opens Sept. 11 at the Majestic Theater and runs for four performances. He's using the four shows to honor local luminaries Ebby Halliday, Michael Jenkins, Zig Ziglar and Ken Cooper.

The rehearsals are happening Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays behind the glass windows of an unused storefront. Tickets and info are
