For more conventional tastes, Andy’s first gig was in Dallas on New Year’s Eve when he was still in high school (Highland Park) . He became a professional musician at 16 on the occasion of New Year’s Eve, his first paying job. Playing keyboards and singing have been the only jobs he has ever had since that date.
After a year at USC and North Texas University, he was ready to ‘hit the road’ and he did so with such diverse acts as Liza Minnelli, Tom Jones, and Lou Rawls. He was a Witness with Louis Prima’s band, and a New Christie Minstrel.
In addition to the big Las Vegas Showrooms and venues all over the world, Andy has a long list of Dallas credits as a solo pianist such as Loew’s Anatole, The Stoneleigh Hotel and many private parties. He has also been a solo pianist in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace, The MGM Grand and Riviera Hotels.
Andy’s TV credits include appearances on The Tonight Show, Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, the Jerry Lewis Telethon, Don Kirschners Rock Concert , the Dinah Shore Show and others.
