Jill L. Brooks
Jill’s vocal versatility includes Gilbert & Sullivan operettas, Opera, Popular Standards, Big Band, Christian Praise & Worship, Southern Gospel, Country and musical theatre.
Some of her many notable performances have been "Kate" in Kiss me, Kate!, "Luisa" in The Fantasticks!, "Mother Abbess" in The Sound of Music, "Fraulein Schneider" in Cabaret, "Ethel Banks" in Barefoot in the Park, "Bird Woman/Miss Andrew" in Mary Poppins, and "Mother Superior" in Sister Act the Musical.
Jill attended Simpson College in Iowa, Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma and graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Music and Communication Arts.
She was a member of the Dallas Symphony Chorus for 19 seasons and has been a part of the Spectacular Senior Follies cast since 2010.
Jill’s employment includes corporate law firms, television stations, and senior living facilities. She plans to retire in September after 12 years with UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a vocal coach and a nationally certified Life Engagement professional in eldercare.

Jill wishes to thank her parents for providing a well-rounded musical and educational upbringing and always encouraging her to keep on singing. Jill also thanks her Heavenly Father for entrusting her with the voice and talents to share the music that moves our souls and lifts our spirits.
