Chris Cree

President

Chris joined the Follies in 2019. He is a lifelong Dallas resident save his years at the University of Oklahoma earning a degree in Business Administration with minors in statistics and business communications. He currently sits on boards of 5 not-for-profit corporations and is hopeful that his experience over the past 35 years owning a business will help the Follies on the path forward of continuing wonderful, entertaining productions.

Scott Hickman

Vice President

Scott joined the Follies in 2019 and was elected to the board in January 2020. He brings his expertise in information technology to the Follies board and serves on the website, social media, artistic and program advertising committees.

Scott worked in information technology for over 30 years and, in addition to teaching various programming topics and helping design a web-based platform for insurance processing, he has led teams of business analysts and programmers in multiple projects though the years. His love of performing brought him to the Spectacular Follies in 2019 and his devotion to the Follies mission led him to the Board.

Brigitta Powers

Secretary

Brigitta serves as Secretary of the Spectacular Follies board in addition to her role as a cast member. She was an officer on the Ms. Texas Senior America board and served on that board for 8 years.  She is a retired nurse and preschool teacher.

Betsy Lee

Treasurer

Betsy joined the Follies in 2017 and was elected to the board as the Treasurer in November, 2021. She worked in the accounting field as a Financial Analyst for over 30 years and retired in 2019.  She was the original founder of USA Dance Dallas, a national non-profit promoting ballroom dancing and was its Treasurer for 12 years.  She continues to be involved in the chapter as a volunteer at their monthly social dances.  She is also a member of the Dallas Tap Dazzlers and has performed all throughout Texas. Her love of dance and performance brought her to the Follies and being part of the board, she hopes to make a difference at the Follies.

Phil Alford

Director

Phil Alford recently joined the board of the Spectacular Follies after performing with the group since 2018 as a soloist and ensemble member.  He has served in the past as an officer with the Singing Men of North Central Texas, Kauf-Van Baptist Association, the board of the Forney Public Library.  As a minister of music for 46 years he has organized and directed many musical programs, as well as helping develop and oversee budgets in the churches he has served. He looks forward to serving with the Follies board.

Marcie Baker

Director

Marcie Baker was elected to the Spectacular Follies Board in 2021. She has been in the Follies cast since 2017.  Marcie performs with The Taste of Follies throughout our community.  She served as president of the Ms. Texas Senior America Cameo Club for four years and two additional years as co-president. Currently, she serves as their treasurer.  Marcie was elected to the Ms Texas Senior America Board in 2023.

Jill L. Brooks

Director

Jill joined the cast of the Spectacular Follies in 2010 and has been a part of the “Follies Family” since then. Her extensive theatre experience and vocal skills have served her not only as a performer but also in leadership roles as a choral captain, voice teacher, and musical assistant to DeeAnne Meece. Jill was asked to join the Executive Board in 2018, and her corporate skill set has contributed to many facets of her service to the Follies in that capacity as well. She has served as Secretary and Vice-President and currently serves on several committees.

Stacy Dominguez

Director

Stacy Allyn Dominguez has been a cast member of the Follies since its inception in 2008, appearing as a showgirl and portraying Marilyn Monroe in several shows. Stacy joined the board in 2014 to help by using her long-time working skills of advertising and public relations to publicize the Follies.
Stacy is a former vice president and, later, president of the Follies board of directors. Stacy now remains on the board as a loyal member and loves being able to be part an organization that brings such joy to so many in both the cast and the audience.

Mary Dowling

Director

Mary was born tap dancing. She began at age four in Elizabeth, NJ. She was co-captain of the Cheerleaders at Sacred Heart High School for 2 years and won a dance scholarship due to her talent as a tap dancer, assisting at the dance studio and perfect attendance.
Mary has performed in many talent shows in New Jersey and other venues in New York City and has also appeared in dance ensembles. She taught tap to elementary school children at the Dorothy Inderlied dance studio and choreographed routines with the Duncanville and Frisco Chambers of Commerce
preparing for their annual award programs.
She has won numerous awards for volunteering and assisting in other theatrical venues in New Jersey.
Her heartfelt gratitude goes out to the outstanding Class Act Tap Co., the Spectacular Follies and her wonderful family. They have all supplied her with “the oxygen” that keeps her going. This is Mary’s 12th year in the Follies.

Barbara Frank

Director

Barbara was born in Dallas and attended Bryan Adams High School and East Texas State University until she married her high school sweetheart, Bill.    She has lived in Richardson since 1973 and raised her two amazing children, Stacie and David, in the Berkner High School area.  She has been in the Follies since the beginning, as part of Class Act Tap Company and the dance ensemble. She has loved every minute of it and is so very proud to share the joy that each show brings to the audience (and the performers!)  She is proud to be on the Follies Board for the second year and will give all the support possible to achieve its goals.  She is always camera-ready to capture all the special moments behind the scenes and on stage!  One-Two-Three-Smile!

She served as Executive Director of Promotional Products Association Southwest for 15 years, is a past board member and president of Dallas Junior Forum and has a secretarial and fund-raising background. She is ready for lights, camera, action!!

Dee Olson

Director

Dee joined the Follies cast in 2008 as a dancer. She was born in Kansas City, Mo and started dancing at the age of 4.  She owned and operated her own dance studio from 1962 until 1989 when she moved to Allen, TX.  She has choreographed several musicals in the past and continues to teach tap classes today.  Her love for dance and performing is what keeps her going. She was elected to the Board of the Spectacular Follies in July 2022.

Beth Weems Pirtle

Director

Beth is from West Columbia, Texas and a graduate of the American High School, Mexico City. She holds degrees in Spanish and Deaf Education and has a Masters in Communication Disorders. Beth retired in 1994 after 26 years in teaching. She is Ms. Texas Senior America 2003. Beth and Rodney have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Beth has been in the Spectacular Follies since 2008.
