Catherine Brown

Catherine is excited to join the Senior Follies for the first time this year and is excited to be part of this extraordinarily talented cast and crew.


She returned to theater after 30 plus years at Greater Lewisville Community Theater playing several different roles in She Loves Me and Flo Manero In Saturday Night Fever.

Catherine is from Port Chester, New York. While in high school, she was drum majorette, member of the touring choir and was honored to be chosen to sing with the All New York State Choir. In later years, she sang with the Rochester Oratorio. Five-and-a-half years ago, she founded the Silver Singers who have weekly performances at many different senior living facilities. She was third runner up in the 2016 Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant and is a performer and the secretary of the Cameo Club.

Some of her favorite roles have been: Tuptim-The King & I; Nettie-Carousel; Mother Abbess-The Sound of Music and Marian-Music Man.

She retired from IBM after 43 years has a son, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a wonderful husband, Alan.
