Suzi Checki

Suzi is a Dallas native.


Her love of films took her to Hollywood where she worked on many of the top TV shows such as "Colombo", "The Incredible Hulk", "Police Woman ", and several films including” The Amazing Howard Hughes" with another Dallas native Tommy Lee Jones, and the Emmy-award winning movie "Raid on Entebbe".

Her singing experience led her to New York for a recording contract. She had a hit pop/dance record "Can't Take These Lies" which received international air play and club play. She sang and performed at the world famous "Copacabana" and "Roseland" and all the dance clubs in New York .

She studied dance at the Broadway Dance Center. When she returned to Texas she worked on” Walker Texas Ranger" and the children's show "Wishbone" until both shows ended production.

Suzi has always been a good mimic and also has worked for years as a celebrity impersonator. Her characters include Marilyn Monroe, Mae West, Peggy Lee, Carol Channing, Doris Day, Cher, Madonna, and she just completed the "Senior Follies 2011" at the Eisemann Center with her impersonation of Marlene Dietrich.

Suzi stars in her own one woman show entitled "Blond Highlights of Hollywood”, with songs and impersonations of famous Hollywood blonds.

She also is a painter and has her art in homes all over the world.
