Since they started dancing together twenty years ago, Kathleen Cunningham and Randy Willis have become well known in Dallas.
They are well known for their ballroom dancing floor shows and stage performances.
After competing nationally for eight years, they now enjoy performing exhibitions that go beyond the rules of strict competitive dancing, adding dramatic spinning lifts and creative choreography to delight their audiences.
Kathleen was extensively trained in ballet from the age of four, and studied with the Houston and Dallas Ballet Companies.
Randy, her husband and dance partner, is an attorney who prefers dancing to litigating. In his twenties, he first learned to dance on roller skates, later ice skates, and then on the ballroom floor.
Kathleen and Randy were most honored to dance in the nationally-acclaimed Dallas Christmas Festival, staged by the Prestonwood Baptist Church, for which they also served as choreographers and dance coaches. They have danced in shows at Bass Hall in Fort Worth, and McFarlin Auditorium. They have been on the bill with the Guy Lombardo Orchestra, the Paul Salos Lets Dance Band, Phares Corder, and Jack Melick. Their credits include performances for The Vocal Majority, Neiman Marcus, Zale Corporation, American Heart Association, and numerous dance clubs, banquets, and conventions. For the past six years, Kathleen and Randy have provided the floor show at the New Year Eve Gala and Valentine Ball for KAAM Radio.
