Carole grew up in Irving, where at age four she won the Irving Council of Garden Club’s Little Miss Flower Show and was featured on the “Julie Bennell Show.”
She studied ballet with Rosmarie Goldammer, dancing the polka at the Texas State Fair and nearby Germanfests. Carole was a member of the choir and drill team in high school and a cheerleader in college, before becoming a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington, Carole directed her former high school drill team for several years along with teaching P.E., Health, and English.
Fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom for many years, she was a busy volunteer for her kids' schools. After age 40, she ventured back into dance, taking adult jazz and tap, and volunteering with several ballet companies. Carole spent more than a decade behind the scenes managing her daughter's dance career training, chaperoning and assisting backstage at performances and competitions, including accompanying a ballet company to Scotland to the world's largest arts festival – the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
A stand-in and background actor on the original “Dallas” television series, in recent years Carole began acting both on camera and onstage, appearing in several commercials and indie films, background roles, and performing in community theatre. An avid reader, Carole loves writing poetry, traveling, crocheting, and follows professional tennis. Married to Paul for 29 years, she has three children, two grandchildren, and two dachshunds.
