In September 1948, while she was dancing professionally, Audrey appeared on stage at the Majestic Theater with Theater Guilds National Company of Oklahoma.>
At the time she did not dream that Dallas would become her home and exactly 61 years later she would appear on the Majestic stage as a showgirl in The Spectacular Senior Follies 2009.
When she retired from show business in 1954 to marry and settle in Texas, she gave up one great adventure for another. And it did not mean giving up show business entirely. Over the years, which included many moves, three wonderfully talented children and show horses, she and her husband were active in community theater and events. She danced, sang, acted, choreographed and directed; and for the past six years, has danced with the Class Act Tap Company.
She is so pleased to be appearing again this year as a showgirl in the Spectacular Senior Follies 2011 at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts, sharing the stage with so many talented and beautiful performers from the Dallas area.
